Charlotte Forrest had been a fixture at Smithsburg High School
for many years and served as the Librarian at the end of her career in Washington County Public Schools. Many of the quilts in this auction are believed to have been made by her mother. Charlotte Forrest was in her 90's when she passed away so this will give you a feeling for the age of the items
